Well, The Big Tweet came and it went and boy did I have a good time! I hope you did too. Thank you to all who attended. A special thanks to our Meg and her sister Kiki for all the cupcakes. They were d-lish!

kitestring loves putting on fun and exciting events in Hamilton where cool people come together to meet. From TEDx to Hype to Tweetups to who knows what else, we truly enjoy bringing people together. Hamilton seems to be lacking these events. So here’s your challenge; BRING IT ON! If you want something to happen in your city, make it happen. That way we can all enjoy fun times and each others company.

Our next tweetup will be help in the summer. I hope to see you all, + some, there!

Bringing old and new together for the first time, kitestring is pleased to host Snow Ball: A Social Media Social!

In celebration of all things worth juxtaposing, Snow Ball: A Social Media Social will feature a collaborative, interactive workshop where guests can learn and share their modern social media know-how with the kitestring team, followed by an old fashioned tea social, accompanied with all of tea service accoutrements like scones, jam, tiny sandwiches and doilies! Last night we held our final HYPE (Hamilton Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs) event of the season. It took place at The Ship on Augusta Street and it was the place to be in Hamilton. Over 40 people were there sharing beers, cheers and good times.

From talking to many people at the event it seems like Hamilton is craving more hipster events like HYPE. We have a large and strong young business community who tends to do business differently. And that’s awesome. Having events like HYPE help to foster this community.

Thanks to everyone who came out last night and made HYPE a success! You all rock.

I also want to thank Meg, kitestring’s dynamo, for organizing the event. Wouldn’t have happened without you and we think you’re tops! But you know that. I know you do. : )
