Christmas Spectacular was a hit! Thanks to everyone who came to the event, and all of our sponsors, we collected and delivered 143 toys to McMaster Children’s Hospital is three hours!

After all the hard work, goodies and glitter we’re so happy with how the day turned out. It’s wonderful to see how our community came together to make the day possible. Wednesday, November 24th 2010 after your nine to five grind, and the night is always casual.

Our favourite indie seafood bar on Augusta Street (The Ship, 23 Augusta Street, Hamilton)

Why?
As per usual, HYPE is all about saying NO to stuffy business card hand offs and feather plumage puffing in networking situations. When you show your smiling face at this pre-Holiday “Why The Elf Not?!” party, you’re saying YES to cups of cheer and meeting like minded people in your pond.

Even though it rained (hard) this past Wednesday afternoon and soaked through some t-shirts, Hamilton’s young creative professionals and entrepreneurs got together at the Bad Dog Cafe on Locke Street. Most of us had the right idea and found a dry way of transporting themselves over, but some of us (myself, Jenn and Chris) marched under the storm cloud with umbrellas in hand. I think I can say on behalf of everyone who came out, it was a goooood time! Delicious food, savory Caesars, smiling faces – you get the idea. If you have never attended a HYPE event, get your social on at our next meet in the Fall. See you then!

HYPE is on this Wednesday, July 7th after your nine to five grind at Bad Dog Café and Wine Bar on Locke Street . Have some vino in the sun, give your tootsies some well deserved flippy floppin’ freedom, and meet up with other like-minded creative young professionals who live in Hamilton this summer.
